Como ya anunciamos ayer, para celebrar el Día de la Hispanidad, las profesoras de español llevamos a cabo un concurso de trabalenguas en el que participaron más de 30 alumnos de Español L1, L3 y L4. Los alumnos debían decir dos trabalenguas de un listado que les habíamos proporcionado y que habíamos practicado en clase. Uno de los trabalenguas lo sabían de memoria y el segundo lo escogían al azar del resto del listado y lo leían. El jurado formado por dos profesores españoles del centro, Jorge Botella y Cristina Pereira valoraron la pronunciación y la rapidez otorgando los premios a Ramón S2E, Suban S3E, Kayleigh S5N, Elea S5N.
Mientras que la actividad tenía lugar los asistentes pudieron saborear nuestras delicias culinarias: tortilla y bizcochos de limón y de naranja.
Este es el sexto año que organizamos una actividad para celebrar este día y una vez más hemos logrado nuestro objetivo: que los alumnos se diviertan aprendiendo la lengua y la cultura española. Esperamos seguir celebrándolo.

As we announced yesterday, to celebrate Columbus Day, the Spanish teachers held a tongue twister competition in which more than 30 students of Spanish L1, L3 and L4 took part. The students had to say two tongue twisters from a list that we had provided them with and that we had practised in class. One of the tongue twisters they knew by heart and the second one they chose at random from the rest of the list and read it. The jury, made up of two Spanish teachers from the school, Jorge Botella and Cristina Pereira, judged the pronunciation and speed and awarded prizes to Ramón S2E, Suban S3E, Kayleigh S5N, Elea S5N.
While the activity was taking place the attendees were able to taste our culinary delights: omelette and lemon and orange sponge cakes.
This is the sixth year that we have organised an activity to celebrate this day and once again we have achieved our objective: that the students have fun learning the Spanish language and culture. We hope to continue celebrating it.
