The children in The Nursery are fully into the term and learning a lot about the Autumn.  They have been teaching the teachers how to make bread.  They have been hunting for signs of autumn.  Now they are very excited for the celebration of St. Maarten.  In September all of the children in M1/2E pressed leaves and flowers that they found around the school.  Last week they opened the presses and found out what had happened to the leaves and flowers.  They then used these flowers and leaves to make their lanterns for St. Maarten.  On the 10^th November the children will process around the school with their lanterns and sing traditional St. Maarten songs in three languages.
