On Thursday November 24th we had the annual Juvenes Translatore Contest, an online translation contest for secondary schools in the European Union organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DG Translation) and run by Mrs Miraglia and Mrs Heiden. Our school was selected and two S7 students participated. The winners will be invited to an award ceremony in Brussels in the spring of 2023.
2022 is the European Year of Youth, so ‘the European Youth’ was the topic of JT2022 original source texts.
The students had the chance to reflect on the role of young people in the EU’s future and on key aspects for the present and future such as unity, peace and sustainability.
